As far as BOGOs go, this one is a standard Buy One, Get One Free except it requires you to buy two… but then you get two free. Buy two, get two free. It’s kind of good if you want more than a few things from Ulta’s affordable home line of cosmetics, brushes, and tools, Ulta Collection.

If this were any old department store’s home brand, I would be wary, but if there’s any brand that knows makeup, it’s The Big Guys: Ulta, Sephora, Boots, etc. These are the companies whose makeup brands I would be much more comfortable taking a chance on than, say, Target or 7-11.
You’ll need to have 4 items in your cart in order to see the deal reflected. But you really can get two of every four products you buy for free. The two least expensive, of course, but two nonetheless.
An Ulta product I would warn against, from personal experience, is the “professional” manicure kit. The metal is rough-edged and feels cheap, the clippers won’t cut through thick nails (mine aren’t like acrylics or anything, just healthy), and using the metal nail file makes me shudder. Not worth it, and definitely not “professional.”
A product I would recommend from personal experience — this precision cuticle remover. It’s hefty and sharp and just all-around awesome. Only $6, too!
