On one end of the fashion pricing spectrum, you have high end designers like Givenchy and Alexander McQueen, and on the polar opposite end you have foreign wholesale sites and fast fashion. Along that spectrum, at hundreds of different points, you’ll find perfect blends of unique design and price point. Those brands have weird names you’ve never heard of, but you’ll find them all on Revolve.
The girls you see on street style blogs are wearing things from Revolve. The women you see sitting in the row behind celebrities at fashion shows are wearing things from Revolve. Your really hot co-worker named Alice who has amazing style is wearing a dress from Revolve.
Those four pieces you see above range in price from $72-$250, and that’s the best way I can think of to sum up Revolve: everything looks incredible and a lot of it is stuff you can actually afford.
For Love & Lemons SU2C x Revolve Barcelona Set; NBD X Revolve Own The Night Dress, Tularosa x Faux Shag Coat, 525 America Thunderbolt Yoke Sweater
Some of my favorite brands have been discovered through Revolve, and that two piece dress (which was a collaboration with Stand Up 2 Cancer!) is representative of one of them: For Love and Lemons. They are absolutely on the pricier side of my lust spectrum, but I just can’t shake their “sun-soaked lemonade stand” aesthetic!
Which brings me to… the sale section… AKA the reason I came, and the reason I stick around.
$250 dream outfits are enough to send me into a mattress-selling frenzy, so the fact that there’s a sale section that does justice to the term “sale section” eases my nerves and my credit debt. Their discounts can go from the shallow end of the pool, which is like ~40% off, to the deep end in which you are looking at prices that are marked down 85%-90%. Seriously, here are four examples of things that have no business being this inexpensive.
Saylor Josie Dress, NBD x Naven Twins Everytime Dress, Liv Raglan Crossover Top, Xanadu by Deborah Lippmann, Lovers + Friends x Revolve My Way Jumpsuit
See what I mean?! These are clothes that you can’t and won’t find in department stores, made by people who don’t also sell toaster ovens, and they are marked down to absolutely ridiculous prices. As of the time I’m writing this post (the night before it publishes), each one of these products have at least two sizes available, too, so it’s not just a final sale everything is XS fluke.
Can you believe the perfection of that jumpsuit, by the way? Three cheers for un-boring jumpsuits!
One of the best things about Revolve is their #RevolveMe Inspiration page where they scour Instagram for pics of beautiful girls wearing their clothes! You’ll recognize all of the photos from this post as soon as you click over – I love this feature! Seeing the fit on non-professional-fit-models definitely makes the clothing come to life, for me. Also: pretty girls in pretty clothes! I could spend all day looking at pictures of personal style. What could be better!?
For Love & Lemons Scarf Midi Dress
As you can see, there are lots and lots of collaborations at Revolve, and that typically makes for some pretty exciting fashion options. Like I said – actual designers and broke people like us get to wear them! If you’re not scared of some sartorial loudness, welcome to Revolve.
Revolve is a great place to find:
Party dresses
Fancy lingerie
Edgy cocktail dresses
High end denim
Designer jewelry
Sunglasses
Granted, this is for a bit of a larger budget than your average thrift store purveyor, but don’t be scared of nice clothes! At least go and soak in the eye candy that Revolve shares with the rest of the world.
