New Skincare Lines Announced at Ulta’s Glowing Skin Event

Aside from the 50% off deals at the Ulta Glowing Skin Event, Ulta is also using this opportunity to celebrate some new additions to their skincare lineup.

Alongside Murad, Peter Thomas Roth, Dermalogica and others, they’re diversifying your balmy options even further by adding some exciting new brands – some you’ve never heard of before, and a couple that you might recognize…

First Aid Beauty

Sensitive skin is a huge issue when shopping for skincare, and it’s kind of First Aid Beauty, aka FAB‘s mission. They feel really strongly about including ingredients that don’t irritate skin, and all of their products are allergy-tested and fragrance-free!

Skinfix

This Canadian skincare brand has been going strong for over 150 years – or, their formula has, anyway! They are all about using non-synthetic ingredients and sticking to traditional healing strategies. You can tell from their packaging – they’re not trying to distract you from anything, Skinfix is literally just here to fix your freaking skin.

Philosophy Take a Deep Breath

If you’re into skincare and haven’t found yourself enamored with Philosophy, I’m not sure what your secret is. They’ve released the Take A Deep Breath line which includes a skin-nourishing SPF 30, and as it’s hero product, an Energizing Oxygen Gel Cream. This moisturizer is like a brisk walk in the forest for your skin. The oil-free formula refreshes skin and gives it a renewed glow while supporting cell respiration and detoxifying. Also included are a pressed powder foundation, blush, and a “liquid sunshine” bronzer that looks truly solar.

Tony Moly

If you’re vulnerable to cute packaging, then please go into this with your guard up because this Korean-based skincare and beauty line is going to tempt the crap out of you. Design lust aside, the oodles of masks, creams, and scrubs (the light pink lips are a lip scrub!) have excellent reviews! If you’ve been interested in Asian beauty products, this is a great place to start. There are even snail gel eye masks! Additionally, Tony Moly is super affordable, priced between $3.75-$14.50.

BareMinerals Skinsorials

This is a complete skincare line from BareMinerals.  Eventually, this new product line will feature four cleansers and four moisturizers to accompany it’s main event: SkinLongetivity – a vitamin and mineral rich serum that delivers radiant, resilient, more youthful looking skin. These products have all kinds of cool ingredients like minerals sea salts, rosemary, California poppy and elderflower.

If you missed the original post announcing Ulta’s Glowing Skin Event, here’s a calendar of the sale days along with the product(s) will be marked down 50%:

Today, you can get Murad’s Environmental Skin Shield Essential-C Cleanser (which I literally used this week for the first time – shout out to my mom’s bathroom!) for 50% off, making it only $18. It feels wonderful to wash your face with this, it has tiny exfoliating “beads” made from jojoba oil and they slowly dissolve as you massage it into your face. It’s really delightful. Special note: only the 6.75 oz. container is on sale today, though there are travel sizes and larger sizes available.

Also on the sale list today are all of the MyChelle serums! Whatever your skincare need, MyChelle probably has a serum for it. Hyaluronic Acid, vitamin C, retinoids, peptides… These have a skin-renewing focus that ensures each serum is packed with ingredients that help repair and renew skin cells. I don’t know about you but the feeling of putting on a serum is like putting on socks fresh out of the dryer. Prices for these usually start at $28 and end somewhere around $60, but today you can get most of their facial serums for $14-$30!
