Every year, Oprah releases her gift guide: a long list of exciting products that she likes to call Oprah’s Favorite Things. I’m always eager to sift through to find the “favorite things” that are, like, affordable at all.
I’m a gift guide junkie with an obvious shopping hangup and the way I roll, I don’t even want to see the stuff I can’t afford. Just show me what I can actually have!
This year, I threw together a list of the most affordable products on Oprah’s Favorite Things 2017. It’s all of the broke-level affordable items from this year’s gift guide. Hopefully it’ll save us all some time and money. You know, just in case there are others like me who can’t risk falling in love with something out of their price range.
But first, we need to look at Oprah in this incredible fishtail gown for the 20th anniversary of favorite things. Girl is 63 years old and rocking a sleigh in this getup. Bravo!
Ever since 2015, Oprah has put her list on Amazon to ensure her favorite things are available to everyone, everywhere. In conjunction with that partnership, Amazon’s Alexa has been integrated to ridiculous levels. You can literally ask Alexa to shop Oprah’s favorites – even individual items can be ordered verbally. Scary/awesome, right?

Out of 98 of Oprah’s Favorite Things, only 18 of them are “affordable.” It doesn’t bother me too much – I mean, after all, she’s Oprah. She’s allowed to love $200 dog toy and $35 chai tea… I’ll take the $22 sunglasses and $25 wine sippy cup, thank you very much.
