I can’t tell you how excited I get when I come across a brand that has beautiful clothes in both standard and plus sizes. The unfortunate rarity of these clothing brands makes their discovery all the more delightful. Lost Ink, started in London in 2014, had me high-fiving myself over their gorgeous clothing in sizes 00-20W, and also because there’s no one else around to high-five.

Lost Ink began in West London during 2014 with the goal of making a new style statement without breaking the bank; accessible fashion with something to say. Inspirations for the line are based in their love of street style and classic British aesthetics.

Lost Ink is an inclusive fashion brand for the girl who only wants a to dabble in edgy looks, but wants to dabble every single day.

This may look all fluffy and feminine at first, but look closer. The devil is in the details when it comes to Lost Ink, and their attention to fabrics is not to be overlooked. Texture is a big deal in their garments, which are comprised of seemingly everything from lace to leather. They’ll employ any clever excuse to mix unlikely fabrics, which results in one-of-a-kind spins on classic clothing.

The color palette if their Autumn/Winter 2018 collection (seen throughout this post, so far) is really beautiful. Soft blues, heather grey, and various shades of red and blue are accented by black faux leather, lace, and satin. The consistent color palette makes mixing and matching kind of really fun.

The sizes are in letter form, meaning 00-20W translates to XXS-4X. Lost Ink does two separate lines for each size range, which might bum out the people who fall in love with a piece of the alternate collection. You could argue that the line separation allows for the designs to be tailored for their associated body types, resulting in better fit and more attention to detail.

Also, never forget the girls out there who are standard size on top and plus size on the bottom, or vice versa! Luckily for those people, the two lines intermingle beautifully.
